Development focused internships: Health Care, Environment, Business, or Education. Work on grass roots development projects in Peru, Belize or Mexico. NGO Internships are based on your skills and the needs of our host communities. Help vaccinate children, teach reading, reforest depleted ecosystems, or educate small businesses. Programs are highly supported by an onsite staff team and welcoming community partners. ProWorld, founded in 1998, is a true leader in the fields of study abroad and international development. Volunteers are expected to learn and grow while improving themselves and the communities in which ProWorld works. All participants must have an adventurous spirit. Development projects are determined by the interests and skills of participants and the needs of the local community. Depending on the internship type, volunteers may need intermediate Spanish skills.
