Paris Internship Program
France
Term: Fall, Spring
Dates: Late August to mid-December; mid-January to early May
Description:
The Paris Internship Program offers a semester of study and work in the hub of French and European business and culture. The program combines an internship with intensive French language study and liberal arts courses. Courses in both tracks are taught by French faculty from local universities and private colleges. Upon successful completion of a semester, students earn 16 Boston University credits.
Highlights:
After an orientation period, students enroll in three courses and begin the internship placement process. Students are initially placed into one of two language courses, depending on their language proficiency, plus two seminars. During the second half of the semester, students participate in local business life through internships. Students attend internships full time, Monday through Friday, while also attending individual writing tutorials, which monitor progress in the drafting of a final internship report.
