Examine diverse perspectives on social, economic, political and cultural issues viewed through the intersecting lenses of race, ethnicity, class, religion, gender and sexuality. Study the struggles of Mexicans and Salvadorans working for social change in many arenas. Internships and Independent Studies may be taken for credit in: - History - Interdisciplinary Studies - Political Science - Religion - Spanish - Women's Studies To learn more about field work opportunities offered through Center for Global Education semester programs, please visit our website.

Includes orientation at US/Mexico border, 2-week seminar in El Salvador, homestay with local family and small group intensive Spanish study.
