This placement is designed to give you a head start to your career in TV broadcasting. Whetrher you are just starting out, or loookng to change your career path, this placement will provide you with an enriching experience. This media project is with the Mongolian TV channel, which has been producing music and entertainment shows there for the last six years. Mongolia's networks offer a variety of programming: from Mongolian-style videos to probing documentaries. Their programmers are eager to add a Western flavor to their programmes, from set designs to proper English pronunciations. You might be shooting and editing videos and documentaries or working on the floor during newscasts. Some of these target at-risk youth, warning them about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.Interns at the studio take on a very hands-on role: assisting the Director with film production, taking part in editing work, and also teaching some English to other staff members.

You can get involved in the following activities; * Preparation of various general entertainment and youth programmes. * Come up with new ideas for programmes, with full creative license offered to 'Westernize' current programme style and content * Assist in the editing & recording of TV programmes * Proof reading of scripts and documents * Teach English language and culture to the local staff
Qualifications:
* Min age 18 * Minimum 1 month commitment - 30+ hours a week. * Good English skills * Some previous experience working in the Media Sector * Full travel & medical insurance * Necessary vaccinations * Necessary flights & visas
