This internship will show you how to: 1. Understand how a Real Estate internet based business operates for property sales. 2. Understand the Real Estate business in a holiday environment for property lettings. 3. Investigate the opportunities available in Brazil, a BRIC economy. 4. How to survey, advertise, sell and rent properties. 5. Build and maintain your own basic property rental website via html. 6. Understand the development of business strategies after considering the competition and other variables in the region. 7. Speak a little basic Portuguese.
Highlights:
You will be living, and working, in one of our apartments on the beach front in Cabo Branco, Joao Pessoa. The apartment has balcony with sea view, Cable television, internet and swimming pool. Cabo Branco enjoys a tropical climate with temperatures averaging 28C all year round. It is the main beach area of the city, popular with tourists and investors and is ideally located for you to enjoy evenings and free time. There are lots of beach bars, restaurants and a vibrant night life. You will be able to go snorkelling on the reef, swimming, take boat trips and experience the beachside lifestyle whilst applying it to your internship. You will learn at first hand why investors come here to develop their property portfolios and perhaps more importantly how they derive income after they have purchased.
Qualifications:
- Applicants need to be over 20 years old. - Applicants need to have good communication and social skills, but no formal academic qualifications are required. - Applicants will need to bring their own notebook and digital camera.
Cost in US$: 5,000
Cost Include Description:
This fee covers your accommodation in a beachfront apartment, breakfast and food during working hours, local transport and materials needed to fully partake in the internship. Please note you will have to also fund your airfare to Joao Pessoa airport, any private travel before and after your internship, personal insurance/medical costs, all social costs outside our board and lodging arrangements and personal spending money.
