There is a SUNY-appointed Resident Director in each country in which Brockport's Overseas Internships are available. Resident Directors are experienced professionals who have extensive experience and a wide range of professional contacts in the host country and have also had experience in the United States (on the SUNY Brockport campus.

"SUNY Brockport study abroad programs are for students matriculated in the US only, US students only."

Highlights: The SUNY Brockport Russian Internship site is in Novgorod, about two hours southeast of St. Petersburg. It is one of the oldest cities in Russia, founded in 859, and contains many beautiful examples of early Russian churches, as well as an outstanding collection of museums. The Novgorod Kremlin borders the Vochov River, which splits the city and drains Lake Ilmen, providing many recreational opportunities. Placement for most majors is available.
