Next summer, The Art Farm is hosting a unique acting program. A diverse selection of individuals will be invited to join our creative improve team to film a hillarious, new and outrageous sketch series. It will be a rare opportunity for great inspiration, exploration into the depths of your personality, living and learning in this wild location in the South of France and indulging in all the fun of The Art Farm. Johnny Grant, The Art Farm director, is looking for 10 improve students to help him complete his latest project, creating a new shortform improve comedy television series. Gathering a team with all the quirkiness of 'monty python' and wit of the 'who's line is it anyway' crew, for the production of sketches filmed in France throughout the summer. To keep up with the pace you will need to be theatrical, dramatic, free from embarrassment and above all outrageous. Set on top of a volcano in a land where craziness, fun and spontaneity is encouraged, where people let loose and find a part of themselves they never even new existed. It is here you will have the chance to be the actor you've always wanted to be. With Johnny Grant as your facilitator your days are sure to be full of strange, peculiar and unimaginable experiences. In a fast paced and outlandish environment it is set to be a wild few weeks. Hilarious scenes, spontaneous characters, constant comedy, experimenting and creative freedom. As the program awakens and evolves so too will your skills. Workshops during the day and live performances in The Art Farm bar at night, all documented by visiting film crews and photographers. The schedule will be spontaneous, flexible and open to creative influence by all visitors. This is a rare opportunity with a unique freedom to tap into your own creative essence. Upon completion of the program you will have gained amazing acting experience, a collection of great techniques you can use throughout your career, a diverse film reel and the confidence to go out there and get the roles you've always dreamed of. Accommodation: During the program you will have the opportunity to stay onsite at the Art Farm in our dorm room accommodation. You will also be able to get involved in any other Art Farm projects or celebrations that are happening, with regular music and art session and parties it will be an exciting time to join us. Qualifications: A certified qualification and experience are not necessary but may help. We are more interested in finding highly motivated, highly creative and confident individuals. This is an amazing opportunity for a lucky few actors, with 10 positions available for 2010. We are looking for individuals with experience of all levels that can learn from us and each other and bring something unique to the team.
