Description: We provide professional internships in almost all business areas and industry sectors in Costa Rica. Companies that offer internships in Costa Rica are all different kinds of firms, enterprises, institutions and organizations. Mostly, we cooperate with national companies, but we also place our participants in branch offices or subsidiaries of international firms. All companies are located in the capital San José and can be easily reached by public transport. The company defines your working hours during the internship. Usually, the internships in Costa Rica are full-time positions. The decision, whether to pay a remuneration or not, is also up to the company. Please remember that internships in Costa Rica are usually unpaid work experiences. Due to economic and social reasons in the country, it is often not possible to pay a salary to interns. However, some companies reward outstanding performances with non-monetary benefits, such as food vouchers, transportation expenses, excursions, etc.

Together with the internships in Costa Rica we offer preparing language courses in San Jose. A four-week Spanish course is required for the participation in our internship program. But for participants with good Spanish language skills it is not absolutely necessary to do the language course, even though we strongly recommend it to get used to the Costa Rican Spanish and to learn relevant words and expressions. documents and includes the translation and/or correction of your
resume as well as the registration for our programs.

Qualifications: - Good Spanish language skills, spoken and written
- Minimum internship duration of eight weeks
- Personal interview at the respective company during the language
course in San José
- Health and accident insurance for Costa Rica
