AmeriSpan - Internship in France
France
- Other Cities in France:
Bordeaux
Term: Throughout the year
Dates: Please Visit our Website for further information
Description:
Internships are available for both shorter-term (minimum 4 weeks) and long-term commitments depending on your French, prior education and/or work experience. You may request the sector where you'd like to work. Some examples are: Tourism, social work, marketing, advertising, handicrafts, banking and agriculture. AmeriSpan Tip: These programs are highly customized and you can start any Monday of the year. You must take at least 4 weeks classes prior to beginning your min. 4 week placement. You willl not receive final confirmation of your project until after your on-site interview during this 4-week period.
Highlights:
France is world-renowned for its rich history and spectacular cuisine. The landscape ranges from the high cliffs and rocky beaches in the north, to the resorts of the Rivera in the south. France's beautiful countryside is abundant with vineyards and farms. Cosmopolitan cities and quaint towns make France a diverse country ripe in culture and charm. In France, you can intern in two lovely but very different places: Aix-en-Provence (pop. 150,000) is an ancient spa and university town in the heart of Provence, known for its rich architectural heritage. During the summer months, Aix-en- Provence hosts at least four festivals including the famous International Arts and Music Festival every July. The other location is Bordeaux, which has excellent museums, vibrant nightlife and beaches nearby. The combination of wide avenues and neoclassical architecture to the well maintained parks give the city a 18th-century type grandeur and the 60,000 university students make this city an excellent place to sample French life.

AmeriSpan Study Abroad's Mission Statement: Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs.
Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
