Description:
The Professional Internship program offers you the possibility of gaining experience in your field of studies while practicing a language and visiting a new country, Argentina. All companies and placements are carefully chosen and monitored so as to provide you with the most comfortable environment possible. Our organization will assign you a tutor to accompany you and your employer throughout the whole experience.

Example of an internship available*: Placement Description: take part in the tasks of maintenance of the reserve alongside the park ranger. Goals: to gain a profound knowledge of the management tasks in the reserve. Organization: It is a lovely natural site of about 10 hectares. It is there to protect the last wildlife remains representative of what at one time used to occupy the entire coastal strip of Rio de la Plata. There is a great variety of plants and wild animals, many of which can be appreciated in their natural environment by the visitors that travel through the interpretative path. The reserve exists to conserve this rich native flora and fauna. The protected area belongs to the Municipality of San Isidro. Ribera Norte Association is in charge of care and control of the land. The Association carries out a very important task in order to reach the objectives and insure the appropriate use and conservation of the reserve. One of the priorities of Ribera Norte is the preservation of local wildlife. Because there are no similar land sites left on the whole riberena coast, without the existence of Ribera Norte many species would surely not be alive in San Isidro. The reserve also has an important educational function, welcoming a great number of scholastic contingents throughout the year. It is during these visits that many young people experience their first contact with nature. Other requirements: Studies in Botany, management and maintenance of natural areas. Qualifications:
-You must be 18 years old or older. -You must have finished high school. Most placements have additional education requirements. -Your Spanish level must be at least intermediate to be able to communicate effectively. If you are unsure about your language level, then do not hesitate and contact us for guidance. You can always take a Spanish course before your Internship. -You must have accident and liability insurance. -Most placements have further requirements related to the activities to be performed.
