This company are founding member of the Urban Design Institute of South Africa. They are a dynamic group of young architects and they have won numerous awards of excellence for urban design and architecture including third prize in the Pan African Parliament design Competition in November 2007. They believe in the evolving design process of teamwork, intense client interaction and a continuous journey towards excellence and simplicity. their philosophy is: "All buildings are cities and the city a big house". They investigate design problems on a variety of scales and in diverse contexts. Their work includes exhibitions, conservation work, new settlements, public spaces and public buildings, new developments as well as a number of diverse and beautifully crafted private houses and farmsteads. They are also very focused on applying Green building principles to the design of buildings to save and harvest energy, particularly by reducing the need for traditional cooling or heating methods. They take on Architecture students for various projects and on applying for this internship more details will be provided according to the interns skills and interests.
