This company began production in 1978 and produce over 30 different varieties and mixes for large chain supermarkets and many smaller private brand names under their own brands as well as still having their own name products. They have exported to many counties around the world from their production facility in Carson City, Nevada, USA as well as from their plant in Cape Town, South Africa. Up to date they have been have been awarded six gold medals in America for their products. the company believes in the best quality in Raw ingredients, Final Products, Personnel and Training. They use fruits, nuts, seeds, and cereals to produce Muesli bars, Energy bars, Protein bars, Seed bars, Fruit bars, Nut bars, Granola and Muesli, Variations of the above, Dried Fruits, Nuts, and Seeds and a wide range of Chocolate coatings and many other items. They also do R & D for international companies as well as a host of local clients. The company have excellent experience in training interns and are one of the most desired companies for Food Science students from Cape Town Universities to complete their internships in. They regularly host two South African Food Science interns at a time so international students will have the opportunity to interact with local students. As an intern you will have the opportunity to gain a vast amount of practical experience and will be able to see and control a product from R&D to production and sales, as the company regularly launches new products. You will also work on the production side and your input and knowledge will be greatly utilized.

Qualifications:
- Studying towards a degree or a related degree in Food Science or Food Technology - Previous experience would be an advantage - Good analytical skills - Enjoy team work and contributing ideas, as well as taking the initiative.
