The Hutong School organizes internships in combination with Chinese classes for students, graduates and young professionals who want to gain working and living experience in China. We will organize an internship at a local or international company in Beijing, provide accommodation and teach you Chinese.

Qualifications:

Primary: Work independently and with other designers to provide our clients with high-quality, creative designs of an international caliber. Duties include creating workable project concepts, gathering and preparing of materials for execution, implementation of any client revisions that may occur, and the overseeing of post-production and printing to ensure that the final product meets with our internal quality standards and ships on time (this may include output and/or press checks) Future responsibilities: Project leader for various jobs as other designers come on board. Requirements:

Must be dependable, detail oriented, fast, willing to learn;
Honest and hard-working;
Confident to work independently or as part of a team;
Be able to learn from mistakes and enjoy learning new things;
Capable of planning and meeting deadlines;
Ask questions;
Capable of reading and editing English Technical Qualifications:
Above average Mac & PC experience
Capable of naming files sensibly and consistently;
Familiar with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
