Description:
Tropical Adventures is a non-profit organization based in the beautiful town of Paraiso in Costa Rica. We specialize in placing volunteers in community, wildlife and teaching project in under-resourced parts of Costa Rica. We are seeking an marketing intern to work at our Wildlife Rescue Center in the Arenal Volcano area. The intern will be in charge of a wide range of marketing tasks, such as managing photo's; creating and maintaining a blog specifically for this project; creating and managing our presence on facebook; creating and distributing descriptions of our projects on various volunteering websites and coming up with ideas to help our growing organization become even more successful in providing quality care to our wild animals. A great emphasis will be placed on learning and implementing viral marketing techniques. The intern will also assist by giving guided tours of our center to walk-in visitors.
Qualifications:
We accept university students from all disciplines, although preferably studying for a degree with a focus on business/marketing. An intermediate level of Spanish is required.

Salary / Pay: This is an unpaid position, but lodging will be provided. And there will likely be some opportunities to help coordinate large groups, for which a daily bonus will be given.
