Description: What's needed for this placement:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Database experience, but if none, must be willing to learn
- Self-starter, focused, able to work independently
- Attention to detail, professional manner
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet research
- Procure and prepare materials and clips relevant to outreach efforts
- Assist with event planning and follow-up
- Drafting and assisting with correspondence
- Preparing attachments for proposals and reports
- Able to work at least 16 hours a week
- Interest in environmental issues and lifestyle

Development and Fundraising

Highlights: Work with a non-profit that has a USD3.5 million foundation fund raising program and uses the power of information to protect human health and the environment. If you are interested in a non-profit career, an internship with this organization will give you valuable training, skills and experience. Wherever you work in the non-profit world, development (fund-raising) skills are critical to success.

Qualifications:
- You must be at least 19 years old.
- Placement should be in your field of study and you must have relevant course work/work experience in the field.
- You must be a US, Canadian or Australian citizen or already be in the US on a work/study visa.

    - 8 Week Internship Placement (Monday - Friday Full-time)
