You will join our journalist and photographers team to produce the articles, the graphic designers to edit the articles, marketing team to sell advertisement place and you also learn how an African magazine is delivered and sold for the customers. The Fiesta magazine is following our vision that community based tasks can be performed in a self sustainable manner. Instead of asking money from the donors to deliver its message, a NGO can produce a magazine supported by the advertisers and to reach country-wide audience. This project is based at Dar es Salaam. The cost of the project is USD 230/240 per week including airport transports, accommodation, breakfast and dinner, orientation and project guidance. The accommodation is at our volunteers/interns hotel at Bahari Beach, some 20 kilometers from the Dar es Salaam City Center at the idyllic coastal village. The hotel has internet services, bar, shops and constant occasions and shows. We have lots of music shows due to our music production studio and various artists in the team. Those who need more privacy and AC and hot water facilities can upgrade their stay paying USD 100 per week extra for a room that can be shared by three people. We have some 70 people staff whereby 10 are expatriate team leaders serving you and securing you enjoy your stay. You will also enjoy the friendship of tens of volunteers staying with you having different tasks and arriving from different countries, some 1,500 of them annually. Art in Tanzania's Mission Statement: Volunteering and adventure tours in Tanzania. Helping poor and underprivileged. Supporting arts and music.
To enhance the livelihood of the rural villages, orphans, women and tribal people as the Masai tribe. We also perform environmental projects as introducing fire bricks made of waste materials to avoid forest cutting for charcoal. We operate in grass root level so the work is easy to attend to all volunteers. We finance our operations with the small profits from the attending volunteers as well as from our other financial resources as from meaningful safaris.
