Romero House is a Christian community serving political refugees in Toronto, 'the most multicultural city in the world'. One year full-time live-in internships are available. Open to interns from most countries, the exception being Africa because of the difficulty in obtaining visas from the Canadian Immigration Department. This is a life transforming experience.
Highlights:
Our Interns live and work within a Christian community of service in Toronto - The most multicultural city in the world. They receive room, board and a small stipend while working with political refugees who are seeking protection from persecution. In this home environment, newcomers and interns share the suffering and hopes of our global community. The Romero House program starts in September and runs for eleven months. Other arrangements may be possible.
