Description:
This program provides a unique opportunity for international veterinary medicine volunteer work abroad; a chance to learn about animals and veterinary medicine in general and specifically about the practice in rural and urban Ecuador. If you have a passion for working with animals, you may be able to spend some time concentrating on the veterinary practice. Working as a veterinary volunteer, you will be involved in filling and keeping animal records, handling medicines, vaccinations, operations, laboratory work, post-mortems, meat inspections and the routine treatment of domestic farm animals, administering treatments for diseases and pets.
