Gain valuable knowledge as you work alongside other Americans and participate in enjoyable cultural activities. Global Career Launch 2009 will place you in an unpaid internship in one of six program cities.

Qualifications:
As a designated J-1 visa sponsor by the U.S. Department of State, all applicants must fit the following eligibility requirements to apply for a Global Career Launch internship: Student Status: Applicants must be a registered full-time student throughout their internship placement and must have completed at least one year of university by the start of the internship program (June 2009). Every applicant must be returning as a full time university student in the fall. Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 19-26 by the start of the internship program (June 2009). Faculty/Major: All faculties and majors are eligible to apply for the GCL program. Language Requirements: Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of English for use in professional work environments, particularly in your field of study. English language capabilities are subject to verification by AIPT and/or potential host employers. Passport/Visa: All applicants must hold a passport valid until at least March 2010.
