Internship Program in the US (4 months)
United States
Term: Fall, Spring
Description:
The Institute for International Business offers a unique combination of studying in small-town college and working at an internship in New York city. Spend the first half of your sixteen-week semester at the State University of New York studying business, public relations, business English, and American culture. Then, move to New York City for the second half of your adventure, where you will work in a full-time unpaid internship. * Academic Program * Internship in New York City The first two weeks of the long programs will have an orientation that will include a welcoming activity, career advising workshop and a business workshop to help students to understand the USA business world. Also, we like to have guest speakers during the program to talk to the students about various issues in the business world.
Highlights:
You may find yourself working at a world-famous public relations company, or a small, dynamic new public relations firm. Or you may work in a world class museum or a small event management company. The numerous companies and non-profit organizations that have sponsored our students run the gamut, and we will try to make a match for you that uses your current skills and points you in the career direction you want. This opportunity will give you a glimpse into American business practice while you are improving your business skills and your English ability, making you more marketable both at home and in the global economy.
