Description: We offer volunteers in different NGOs. One of our main projects is a Non Governmental Organization founded in July of 2001, located in Maceio in the State of Alagoas, Brazil. Composed by the team that developed economically and environmentally sustainable energy projects based on renewable sources, in the northeast area of Brazil.

The team has experience in projects development of biomass, photovoltaics, wind energy and is involved in all aspects of project development, from feasibility study to its implementation. Through out the microenterprise model for rural electrification with PV, (Programa Luz do Sol), the team has been stimulating photovoltaic market in northeast of Brazil, through the use of a model based on Solar Home Systems rental company.

They also develop environment projects and sustainable rural development, with the objective of improving life quality and increasing income and preserving the environmental conditions.

The volunteer has many different kind of jobs, depending on his interest. He can help to teach the locals how to use their environment and agriculture. Besides, the physical work, they always need help with administration.

* Motivation to work in NGO and with environment
* Interest in environmentally projects
* Open-minded and friendly to local people
* Office (Word, Excel)
* Good Portuguese (at least 4 weeks intensive-course)
