Description:
The Front desk is the information center of the Inn, where among other things, guest check in and reservations are handled, guests request service arranging their Big Island trip, and require assistance using the Inn's services. Major Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: - Answering telephone, greeting and assisting guests - Guest check in and reservation processing - Update the current events, local attractions boards - Setting up & breaking down evening barbeque/beverage - Close up office and secure Inn at shift end
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality - The ability to work with a minimum of supervision - Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends - Knowledge of (or interest in learning) the Big Island attractions and hiking trails
