Description: The trainee is helping in a day care centre for children from different age groups: 7 months to 6 years. The main task is to support the educators in the daily business: eat with the children, pamper them, play with them and have fun with them. Also he has to help in organizing certain special events like sports day, day of healthy food and so on. A special task would be bilingual education: introducing the English language, create language games and develop own ideas of getting the children to learn the language.

Highlights: Weimar is a small lovely city with about 60000 inhabitants. In 1999, it was eleced as the "Cultural Capital City of Europe". Therfore, many cultural events are offered during the entire year. The most famous personalities are Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Friedrich Schiller and Frierich Nietzsche.
Besides the cultural aspects, a university and a music academy fills the city with a fresh atmosphere of student life.

Qualifications: The internship has to be part of your job training or academic studies.
You should be open minded and friendly. A certain knowledge of the German knowledge is eligible. You do not have to provide certain certificates, but you need to be able to work with small children, being understandable and have interest in bilingual teaching.
