Description:
Intern and gain real world experience in Mysore, India. Mysore was the cultural capital of the Wodeyar dynasty and is home to world renowned palaces, temples and one of the major yoga centers in India. As an intern, you will work abroad with a local community organization determined by community need as well as your skills and interests. You will be part of real, sustainable development. Students live with a local family and work with a local Site Director for support once in India. Programs also include cultural and adventure excursions including visits to Mysore palaces and temples, trips to national parks, cultural classes, and remote community cultural festivals.
