R&D Center Interns work with the Galilee Society's scientists, lab technicians and local university students at the R&D Center. Interns work will focus on sustainable development projects and other scientific projects, such as the Appropriate Technologies for Wastewater Treatment and Reuse in Rural Middle East Areas project. The USAID-funded project works to establish low-cost, efficient and replicable wastewater treatment and reuse systems. Other research opportunities may be available based on the applicant's skills and interests. Intern responsibilities include: * Maintaining contacts with USAID, project partners, and international organizations * Organizing training workshops and partner meetings; and fundraising * Assisting the Project Manager in writing and editing English-language letters, reports, meeting summaries, brochures, etc. To apply, please contact us and submit the following: * Cover letter * CV (Resume) * 2-3 page writing sample (showing your best writing capacity) * 1 recommendation letter -or- contact information for 1 reference
