Resource Development Interns work alongside Galilee Society staff in our main office in Shefa-Amr. Key words: Palestine, Israel, Palestinian, Arab, Middle East, Development, Environment, Health Care, Environmental Justice, Bedouin, Primary Care, Human Rights, Medicinal Plants. Intern's responsibilities include: * writing and editing grant proposals * English-language reports and letters * initiating and maintaining contacts with donors, project partners and international organizations * updating the Galilee Society's website The internship offers good experience of working in the non-profit/non-governmental sector, providing an excellent introduction to the field in a uniquely intercultural setting. Qualifications:
Interns should have the following: * Minimum BA/BS * native-level English writing skills * knowledge of Middle East and development issues. * proficiency in spoken English, with some Arabic preferred * Preference will be given to those applicants able to commit for one year or more
Salary / Pay: Monthly stipend of 3,000 NIS
