Description:
A major Public Relations Corporation in the largest city in Ecuador frequently organizes public speaking events throughout the year. Past speakers have included US President Bill Clinton and Vice-President Al Gore. In addition to world leaders, international celebrities and sports stars are also scheduled to speak. Interns are needed to assist in a variety of roles related to Event Management, including marketing, project coordination, and logistics.
Highlights:
In addition to an incredible internship, all programs of one month or longer include Spanish language training during the first two weeks.
Qualifications:
Participants are required to take a written language exam in order to assess the appropriate placement in language classes. A follow-up language interview will be conducted after participants arrive in Ecuador. Many internships are available for absolute beginners in Spanish with little experience in their preferred field.
