Description:
Volunteers will be working at community health centers and anything related with health, teaching at schools and do all other related school works. Volunteers will also be working with orphans and help them feel happy; this can be the volunteer playing with them and teaching them, taking them out etc. Volunteers can also deal directly with the environment by organizing lectures and creating information on of how to protect the environment. Growing of more trees and executing programs that will sensitize community members about good environmental practices. Volunteers will also help create awareness about sexually transmitted infections in the world of today. Volunteers will also be involved in the building of school blocks, IT centers and other related infrastructure development project that the organization is carrying out at that moment. Internship Programs: Volunteers for Amelioration of Rural Areas (VARA) propose internship programs in all disciplines. Anyone who is interested is requested to apply by indicating his/her field. Mindful of your motivations as intern, VARA will place you in judiciously selected institutions that would allow you to achieve your goals. Serving your internship with VARA is the best medium to obtain your practical experience, help others and also explore other people and their culture. Travel/Tour: Imagine how interesting it is that after your volunteer works, you will be going on a tour around the country to visit the various beautiful, attractive and educative tourist sites.
Highlights:
Volunteers will work on at education sector, health sector, the environment, orphanage. Internship programs are also available. Package tour around the country is organized for volunteers that are interested.

No qualification is needed to work with us. Anybody willing to volunteer/intern is welcome.

Cost Include Description:
* Volunteers working with VARA will be registered. * Volunteers will be accommodated throughout their stay in the country. * Food will be provided for the volunteers on three meals a day basis. * Volunteers will be given all needed information to them feel at home in our country. * The Executives of the organization will be entirely at your disposal while volunteering. * Quick respond will be given to all issues raised. * While in the country, you will be given basic lessons about the local languages.

Volunteers for Amelioration of Rural Areas (VARA)'s Mission Statement: Volunteers for Amelioration of Rural Areas (VARA) is going to ameliorate the rural areas by supporting education and health care delivery in all forms, providing portable water, assisting the needy and orphanage in all these communities. VARA will provide contribution towards maintenance of the environment, and micro-finance with the aim of eradicating poverty. Also particular attention will be given to rural areas activities such as indigenous designing and making of cloth as well as agriculture.
