Description: Language in an everyday professional environment; this is the magic formula if you want to intensify your linguistic ability, gain inter-cultural skills and simultaneously gain new professional experience.

AIP offers the possibility to enroll in a Spanish language course in Valencia together with a complete programme of internships in companies in the Valencia region.

The candidates, who must have at least an Intermediate level of Spanish, will apply the technical and theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic studies to practical everyday workplace situations.

AIP is responsible for the students' welcoming, facilities and lodging; the latter is normally with carefully chosen families or students apartments to reinforce the students full immersion in our culture. AIP will also arrange an intensive Spanish course during the first 2 weeks of their stay in Valencia at least.

The different collaborating companies take the participants with the profile they need during periods from two to six months through an agreement created for this purpose. The daily schedule of the internships will vary depending on the necessities of each company (from 30 to 40 hours per week) and it is not mandatory to give any retribution to the participant even most companies give a small amount (from 150 Euros to 400 Euros per month).

Highlights: Participants will (reinforce) enhance their knowledge of Spanish, will get to know Spanish business culture and will acquire some inter cultural skills, which will be very valuable in the participant's personal and professional development.

Qualifications:
- A valid passport and a student VISA and aged under 30 years (old)
- A letter from the sending institution accrediting your student status
- A letter from your host institution (university, school, etc.) accrediting your student condition.
- A full health insurance and liability insurance during your stay in Spain
- Intermediate level of Spanish. If not, you can extend the intensive Spanish course at AIP the necessary period. Please consider a minimum of 8 weeks to acquire an intermediate level of Spanish if you are a complete beginner.
- Balanced economical situation so to satisfy all the costs of transport, food and lodging during the stay in Spain.
- Participants must have an open and social character, and must adapt to the needs the collaborating company requires.

Cost in US$: 585 USD

Extras:
- A minimum of 2 weeks Spanish Intensive course in Valencia is required. The cost of one week course is 126 Euros. You should have obtained a high intermediate level of Spanish (fluent in a normal conversation) at the end of your academic period.
- Accommodation (optional) in host families with half board is 150 Euros/week. We offer apartments also (90 Euros/week).
- It is necessary to have a Full Health Insurance for Non European Union students. We can provide one if necessary: 20 Euros/month.

Salary / Pay: AIP Language Institute or the collaborating company reserve the right to decide if a participant is not ready to start the internship period in the collaborating company due to the lack of Spanish skills. In this case the participant will have to extend the duration of the intensive Spanish course. Not included: the cost of airfare to/from Spain, local transportation and personal expenses throughout your stay. As a training program internships are officially unpaid even most of the collaborator companies facilitate a amount for daily expenses (from 150 to 400 Euros).
