Description: Our Spanish language school in Cuernavaca, Mexico shares a mini-campus with the University of Cuernavaca - the oldest university in Mexico. With beautifully preserved colonial buildings, Aztec ruins nearby, and its close proximity to Mexico City and the magnificent beaches of Acapulco - Cuernavaca is the ideal location in which to learn Spanish.

Accommodation options are carefully selected for quality and comfort. You can choose from our full-board guest residence, host family, and executive host family - where you will have access to a private bathroom and a swimming pool. An accommodations officer is on-staff to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your accommodation.

Our school in Cuernavaca has a wide variety of language courses to choose from. We offer intensive group and mini-group lessons, as well as private lessons and special interest courses such as Spanish for Nurses and Medical Professionals, Spanish and Mexican Cookery, Spanish for Tourism, Lawyers, or Business, and Work Experience opportunities.

Qualifications: Placements available for students interested in the following fields: medical, social work, business/economics, education, hotel/restaurant management, and criminal justice.

- An intermediate level of Spanish is required in order to participate in the Work Experience program in Cuernavaca
- Internships generally require a 9-16 hour commitment per week from students
- Internships are a minimum of 3 weeks in duration, and students have the option to extend as long as Spanish classes are taken in conjunction with the internship
- Students must enrol in a minimum of 4 weeks of classes during the internship
- As part of the application process, students will need to fill out a registration form, have an interview with the Internship Coordinator at the school, as well as an interview with the organization(s) in which you are interested
- Normally students will need to be studying or already working in the field in which they wish to intern
