Description:
The Abusua Foundation works in partnership with a local television station called Coastal TV. Enthusiastic individuals with a desire to learn about television broadcasting and journalism in an African context will benefit most from this placement. Current and past interns have all considered this placement a great learning experience and have had a great deal of input into the stations development. Coastal Television is young, just over one year old, and has a mission of promoting development in the region through informative and positive local programming.
Highlights:
Placement duties may include story researching, video editing, securing local sponsorships/adverts, interviews and other general administrative duties.
Qualifications:
* Experience with broadcasting, journalism, and/or acting. * Computer literacy is a must * Exceptional interpersonal skills * Comfortable with public speaking * Good organizational skills

Cost in US$: $700
Cost Include Description:
Currently the fee for a six-week placement is US$700 with discounts for longer placements. This fee covers the cost of airport pick-up, two meals daily, communal living accommodations, and 24/7 in country support throughout your stay.
