Description: This program offers Jewish English-speaking College graduates from around the world the opportunity to spend five to ten months engaged in volunteer service in Tel Aviv with a community of Israeli activist.

Part I Ulpan Kibbutz: Our program starts with one month in a kibbutz including full board. Participants will learn spoken Hebrew intensively with professional teachers from Hebrew University, volunteer in the Kibbutz, get to know the group and enjoy the tranquility life style of the Kibbutz .

Part II - Live and volunteer in Tel-Aviv: For the duration of the program, participants live in Tel Aviv and volunteer in community service programs, alongside their Israeli peers. For these four to eight months, participants will continue to learn Hebrew and partake in courses and workshops on Israeli society and Jewish and Hebrew culture in Bina's new center in south Tel Aviv the Secular Yeshiva

Get To Know Israel : During the time in Tel Aviv we will have two days trip outside of Tel Aviv and lot's of day trips, that's hoe participants will get different parts of Israel.

The program will culminate with a seminar. Participants will receive official certificates from the Tel Aviv Municipality in recognition and appreciation of their contribution to the city, and to Israeli society.

  • Typical Volunteer: The volunteer work includes: Rehabilitating the houses of families living in bad housing conditions; assisting children growing up in extremely poor conditions to break the cycle of poverty through education and enrichment; aid for the foreign community; serving in a multi-professional therapeutic center for children and their parents; working toward building true Jewish-Arab coexistence; individual tutoring; teaching a class in English; leading a Chug in a particular subject or interest; working with the elderly and implementing after-school programs for the children; assist with fundraising, Graphic Design...and many more opportunities. Participants can also initiate their own volunteer project in Tel Aviv

    Age Range: 21-26

    This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European and South African Participants.
