Description: Internships are offered according to the requests of the participant. We offer Spanish language programs at the three major universities in Barcelona for beginning, intermediate, advanced, and superior levels. Students can also use our services to direct enroll in a local university or program and we provide accommodation, academic support, and orientation.

    Cost Include Description:
    ESA provides the essential services to facilitate responsible study abroad in Barcelona. Students will be in charge of important aspects of their program including communication with their home university and family, daily activities, safety, travel, and other aspects that are not covered by the services we provide. ESA assists participants in their responsibilities by providing information and resources to address their needs. Participants can always contact ESA with questions regarding the services we included in the program.

    * Pricing note
    We list the prices in Euros to help students pay less by using the latest exchange rate.

    * Accommodation
    ESA participants will stay in our specially selected accommodation in central and safe areas of Barcelona. We work with participants on an individual basis to find the accommodation that suits his/her needs.

    * Host family
    Participants may choose to live with a host family that includes breakfast and dinner. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know locals and practice Spanish or Catalán.

    * Private Apartments
    Participants can share private apartments in pre-arranged groups. Apartments are in central and safe areas and come with WIFI and cleaning twice per week.

    * International Student Apartment
    Students can live with other international students in central, safe, and equipped apartments. All apartments are equipped with WIFI and include cleaning twice per week.

    * Dorms
    We also provide the option for students to live in dorms.

    **Note
    The type of accommodation students choose from is also based on availability but we do our best to locate the type of accommodation students prefer.

    * Tuition
    Includes advising, courses, and transcript.

    * Orientation
    The orientation session introduces students to the linguistic, cultural, and academic life in Barcelona. Topics such as public transport, banking, safety, local customs, Catalán language, academics, and interacting with locals, among more topics, will be covered.

    Participants will receive an orientation handbook to act as a reference for important information about Barcelona and living abroad.

    Following the informational session, participants will take a history and architecture tour with an experienced tour guide to learn more about the rich and interesting history of the Barcelona.

    ESA: Educational Services Abroad's Mission Statement: ESA, Educational Services Abroad, was founded to offer a new type of study abroad in Europe. Our mission is to promote responsible study abroad by providing academic programs and logistical services that engage students in their study abroad experience. Our logistical services are based on first-hand knowledge of Barcelona. Each service is specifically adapted to the needs and requests of universities and students. We offer accommodation in central and safe areas with host families, in private apartments, and in international student apartments. Our on-site orientation provides important information about living and studying in Barcelona and includes a history tour. Our intercultural activities such as cooking classes, volunteer opportunities, and internships are platforms for community involvement.
