Description:
Study Australia currently offers several types of internship placements for students and individuals interested in gaining valuable work experience in Australia. The Study Australia Internship Program will give students and recent graduates entry into Australia's leading organizations and ensure that they receive training compatible with their employment and/or educational history. Optional academic credit through U.S. and Australian universities are available for all internships. Study Australia offers all semester interns the chance to travel throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji before heading to their host campus. These optional trips provide the comfort of a group atmosphere along with trained guides from highly reputable tour providers that specialize in student travel. Fall Semester participants can choose between two tour options. Bond University participants may join Study Australia on a 4-day Fiji Island Adventure. Other Fall semester participants can explore the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland. Spring Semester participants can participate on three additional pre-semester trips. Students can explore the natural wonders and extreme activities on a 7-day venture through the South Island of New Zealand. Surf through a 6-day trip from Sydney to Byron Bay stopping at some of the most pristine beaches in Australia. Explore Tropical Far North Queensland and the city of Cairns, where the reef meets the rainforest, on this 7-day trip.
Highlights:
* Wide Variety of Academic Disciplines (includes optional academic credit) * Available in most major cities from coast to coast * Includes fully furnished, pre-arranged housing * Offered throughout the calendar year - from 1 to 52 weeks * Programs start as low as USD 2,145
