Description:
The company is located in the small town of La Virgin de Sarapiqui, which is a great place to learn Spanish and explore Costa Rican culture. Although tourism is booming in this country, it is not considered a tourist area. La Virgin's flora and fauna are stunning and this is an excellent place for those interested in exploring or studying the rainforest. There are many biological study centers in the area for those interested, as well as multiple rivers for those who love rafting and kayaking.
Highlights:
Helping a local family with all aspects of an adventure travel business, and learning how to whitewater kayak and guide rafts.
