Description:
Internships are available for individuals or small teams who desire an extended program in Central America. Programs are designed specifically for interns based on their skill set and our ministry needs. For one month or more interns will serve in a city where we work. Interns are encouraged to have a "conversational level" of Spanish. Orphan Helpers will design a customized program that matches your experience, skills and passions with the critical needs of a specific orphanage, while sharpening your God-given gifts, talents and abilities. An internship will provide international work experience, develop and dramatically improve your foreign language skills and provide leadership opportunities in an environment that requires independence and innovation.

Cost Include Description:
The cost of internships will vary depending on the Country/city and duration of the trip, airfare and lodging. Our organization will provide pre-departure orientation/training manuals, guidelines and team handbook. On-going staff support will be available in country. Medical insurance coverage, including travel insurance is included in the cost. Food, housing, in-country travel are included in the cost as well as each intern will also receive an Orphan Helpers t-shirt.

Typical Volunteer: Individuals who are willing to serve in gratitude and humility and to demonstrate God's love to the hurting children. This person needs to understand the purpose of bringing God's love to others by demonstrating the fruits of His spirit- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness and goodness. A willingness to do many types of work and the desire to sharpen your God given gifts, talents and abilities.
