Description: The New York City Summer Internship Program is an exclusive opportunity to secure an internship in a leading global market. New York City is our most popular program; and there is no question why. There are endless possibilities available for students looking for an internship opportunity, and we offer internship placement into the most prestigious and well known companies around the globe.

Particpants are placed at the most prestigious and well known companies around the globe; such as GCI Group, Ruder Finn, Alan Taylor Communications, and Manning Selvage and Lee.

The Program has 4 components:

1) Guaranteed Internship Placement:
The University of Dreams places students within top financial firms and within finance departments of other corporations to give our participants the option of exploring distinct markets. Our placement process guarantees all enrolled participants placement and then supports you throughout the summer to make sure that you get the most out of your music internship.

2) Room & Board:
Students participating in Sessions 1 & 3 will receive room & board Room and Board at New York University in the heart of Union Square, where you will be living with 180 other college students enrolled in the program. Session 2 participants will be housed at the New Yorker in Herald Square (however, Session 2 does not include a meal plan). The Program also provides daily transportation to and from work.

3) Weekend Travel Activities:
Each weekend the Program takes the entire group on fun weekend excursions to some of the most exciting destinations in and around New York City.

4) Seminar Series:
Once a week University of Dreams participants are given the rare opportunity to attend seminars to hear the stories and advice of corporate CEOs, best-selling authors, high-powered political figures and famous figures from the entertainment world. The Seminar Series is a uniquely inspiring and educational forum that changes student's lives by giving them the confidence, strategies and support they need to discover and pursue their career dreams.

PLUS Students live, eat, work and travel together while developing great friendships and memories as a result.

1. Must be a full-time undergraduate student in a bachelor's degree program
2. Age: 18-26 at time of participation
3. All majors accepted
4. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible

    Cost Include Description:
    The total cost of the New York program is $7,999 ($500 initial deposit payment + $7,499 tuition cost). To pay the remainder of the tuition cost you are given two options; a pay in full within 45 days plan, or a monthly installment plan where the payments are broken down by the months remaining until the program commences.

    Here is a list of what is included in that cost:
    - A Guaranteed Internship in the industry of your choice and a company you approve
    - Housing for eight weeks in the heart of Manhattan for Sessions 1 & 3 (Note: New York Session 2 includes 10 weeks of housing)
    - Meal plan at campus dining hall for breakfast and dinner at NYU (Note: New York Session 2 excludes a meal plan)
    - Daily transportation: 2 monthly unlimited Metro Card for Subway Access
    - Six organized group weekend activities
    - Career and life coaching through our Summer Intern Seminar Series--best selling authors, famous television personalities, CEOs of major companies, and high-profile political figures.
