Description:
The Work Immersion Study Program in Germany (WISP) is a 3-month scholarship program designed exclusively for U.S. community college students. During their stay in Germany, WISP participants complete a 1-month intensive language course in southern Germany and a 2-month professional internship related to their field of study. WISP provides participants with the unique opportunity to gain practical work experience abroad in their career field, improve their German language skills, and experience German culture firsthand. Qualifications:
Applicants must have equivalent of 1 year of post-secondary German; minimum of 1 year of college; U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residence; and some relevant work experience (preferred).
