Description: The Summer Internship Program in Spain provides an excellent opportunity for American and Canadian students to gain international work experience abroad, improve their Spanish language skills, and experience Spanish culture firsthand.

Internships are available in a variety of fields, including, but not limited to, business/finance, engineering, tourism, IT, media/communications, international relations, the nonprofit sector, Spanish studies, and economics. All internships are unpaid, however, host companies will be asked to provide some form of non-monetary compensation, such as free housing, meals, and/or public transportation to and from work.

The program runs from the end of May to mid-August.

Qualifications: Applicants must have equivalent of 2 years of college-level Spanish; minimum of 2 years of college; U.S. or Canadian citizenship; and some relevant work experience (preferred).

Cost in US$: $500; Scholarships Available

Experience Required: yes

Practical experience in the participant's desired field (summer employment, prior internship, etc.) is preferred.

This Program is open to American and Canadian Participants.

CDS International, Inc.'s Mission Statement: CDS International (CDS) is a non-profit organization committed to the advancement of international practical training opportunities for young professionals, students, educators, as well as labor, business and government representatives.
