A World Gone Projects Mad! - Intern Brussels, Belgium
Belgium
Term: Throughout the year
Dates: 2 to 6 months, starting every Monday, year long
Description:
More and more successful organization = quick, flexible, proactive, which makes projects the buzzword in business at the moment. Business operations have become a series of consecutive projects and the profile now most in demand by human resource departments is the experienced projects worker. Projects make good internships because they are characteristically temporary, challenging, creative and network-oriented. Often the most productive projects are within light organizations where power and responsibility can be shared in non-traditional ways. In fact, linear or hierarchical organizations do not relish project-orientated work because they mean the sharing of power. Believing there has not been enough emphasis on project management training, BEST programs has prospected project internships in fields such as journalism, education, tourism, NGOs, industry, law, health sciences and many more. First we will prep you in our 2-week intensive orientation French course. You will acquire a strong basis and become accustomed to Brussels. These classes commence the first Monday of every month in our centrally located, fully-equipped language school. Your schedule will give you time to participate in the optional organized cultural, sport and social activities with students from all over the world. Upon completion of the language course you will begin your part-time internship in one of the divisions of an international or local company. Nothing can replace the benefits and fun of first-hand experience!
