Nacel International is pleased to offer European Union students a Hotel Management Internship program in France. This program is open to students aged 18-25 with appropriate educational background and experience in the hotel/catering/tourism industry. This program offers professional work experience in the hotel and catering industry in France. We will give you assistance in finding internship placements in quality hotels throughout the country. The placements are designed for students looking for professional experience in line with their studies and their professional objectives and looking for a work experience in France.
Highlights:
* Placements Placements are organized in the French hotel/catering industry (independent hotels/restaurants, hotel chains) and may be in every area of this activity: kitchen, waiter, receptionist, cleaning etc&. * Location: Hotels all over France according to availability (Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, Nice, St Veran etc&) * Length of Placement: From 3 to 6 months *Dates: All year round, dates and length of placement desired should be detailed on the application form. * Accommodation: Accommodation and full board are usually provided by the hotel during the placement. * Work Conditions The placement is full-time, i.e. 39 to 42 hours per week. You will have two days off a week but not always two consecutive days. * Net Allowance: around 35 EUR per week. Its an internship allowance, not a salary. The hotel director may choose to pay the student an extra allowance, on his own initiative.
Qualifications:
* Eligibility This program is only open to European Union students. They must prove that they study Hotel/Catering/Tourism in their European home country (copy of their university registration card for example). Non-EU students cant participate in this program (because of visa and work regulations). Romanian, Bulgarian, tough European citizens, are not yet entitled to register on the program because of visas regulations. In order to take part in the program, students must: - Be aged 18-25 - Be a full-time student in their home country (hotel/catering/tourism studies) - Look for a traineeship (its not a job) to improve professional skills in the hotel/catering and tourism industry - Have a level in French equivalent to B2 to C2 according to the classification at the end of this document (see annex 1). B1 level can be accepted for the cleaning and kitchen work. - Be able to make a convention for the purpose of the internship with their university/school in their home country - Have appropriate skills and previous experience - Be flexible and adaptable to all types of work demanded VISA Regulations and Work Permit Citizens of member countries of the European Union do not need nay visas or work permit.
