Description: Gain practical work skills in a variety of fields from one month to one year. Customized internships available in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Russia, and Spain. Working in a company abroad offers a great chance to discover many aspects of another country's language and culture that are otherwise unobtainable. Cultural Embrace offers a way to maximize the benefits of a stay in a foreign country with professional work experience.

For countries that require foreign language proficiency, we will include an intensive language component prior to your internship placement, and additional lessons can be arranged. We offer a wide variety of work experience placement in the areas ranging from: Business, Marketing, Finance, Office Management, Medicine. Law, Journalism/RTVF, Photography, Fashion, Social Services/Sociology, Education, Architecture, Computers/IT, and more. Internships range from 1 to 12 months. Although most internships are not paid, many companies offer a stipend/benefits based on your work performance.

Cultural Embrace's services include: placement that fits your field of interest, pre-departure and in-country support, traveler's insurance, housing/board (included with most programs), visa & academic credit assistance.

Qualifications:
Each destination has different requirements, but most internships require the following:
* Be 18+ years of age (or adult/guardian consent for minors)
* Be open to foreign cultures and living abroad
* Have a high level of responsibility
* Be dedicated to the full term of commitment
* Foreign language intermediate/advanced level requirement for most destinations, intensive language lessons included for most programs, or can added as an option before or during internship
