Description:
Get hands-on experience of the fastest economic growing country in world history. Such enormous wealth creation has brought about endless chance for both Chinese and foreign multinationals. Internships range from one to six months in a variety of fields. Chinese language skills are helpful, but not required, and Cultural Embrace includes 10 hours of Chinese lessons per week during the duration of your internship. Additional lessons can be arranged before and during your internship for a nominal fee. Although internships are unpaid, many companies offer some sort of bonus or stipend (~RMB2000/USD250 per month) to foreign interns, based on the company's discretion.

* Internship in field of interest Cultural Embrace guarantees an internship offer that matches your requested preferences. At your work site, you will have an Immediate Supervisor offering training and guidance. Due to visa regulations, all positions are unpaid. However, most companies offer a bonus based on your qualifications and size of the company. * 6-10 Hours per Week of Chinese Lessons Cultural Embrace will enroll in small group Chinese language classes, based on your level of proficiency. Classes range from beginners to advanced, with a maximum of 10 students per group. Books and materials are included in the program fees. * Housing A private room in a shared modern, furnished apartment or in a student residence is included with your program fee. Live in a centrally and safe located apartment with other students and interns. Modern amenities such as: kitchen appliances, TV/DVD, internet connection, 24 hours hot water are available in your apartment. Bathroom, kitchen, and common areas are shared among your apartment-mates. Before your departure, we send you a packet filled with useful tips, advice, and information to prepare you for the amazing adventure of living and working abroad. * Full-time Representation Cultural Embrace provides representation in the United States and China prior to, during, and after your placement.

* Be 18+ years old (or with guardian consent if a minor) * Be open to foreign cultures and living abroad * Have a high level of responsibility * Be dedicated to the full term of commitment * Be available to intern for a minimum of 4 weeks
