Description:
La Catalina Natural Language School is looking for a summer trip leader who would like to spend two months on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, serving as a chaperone for 6 to 14 teenage students who will come from the US & Canada for our Spanish and cultural immersion program. The Trip Leader will be in charge of overseeing the teenagers cultural immersion experience, including making sure they are safe and having fun; overseeing students' homestay experience, volunteer work, integration into the Mexican culture, and Spanish classes; planning and leading recreational & cultural activities daily with group; taking photos of activities; attending and supervising students on their weekend excursions, and working with other support staff who will be involved with the teen program.

Qualifications:
* BA from 4-year university * Intermediate to Advanced level Spanish speaking skills * Experience traveling in a foreign country * At least one year experience working with children/teens * Physically fit & good health (position requires a highly energetic and active person for walking and outdoor activities) * Must be able to handle warm and humid coastal climate * Flexibility, positive attitude & fun-loving! * Highly responsible person with top references from past employers

Cost Include Description:
There is no cost for this program and partcipants receive a number of benefits.
Salary / Pay: Free housing; Paid travel insurance (value: $220); Monthly stipend of $300 usd/ month; Reimbursement of round trip plane ticket to Mexico upon successful completion of 2-month position (value: cover up to $500)
