Description:
You will be placed in an organization of social assistance focused on community work. It is located in "La Boca" neighbourhood and offers services since 1935. They have an opened library and they offer advice of free patronage together with other organizations. They develop campaigns for AIDS prevention and other sexually transmitted diseases. They offer advice and orientation to women in critical situations through the Women Commission, another collaborating organization. It also works jointly with other NGOs. They create different projects answering to the problems of populations at risk: minors, adolescents, families, women, etc.
Highlights:
As a participant you will collaborate with the current projects the organization is undertaking.
Qualifications:
For this internship you require an advanced Spanish and English level. You also require University studies in careers of social work, psychology, anthropology, legal profession, searching, etc.

24 hour telephone line to assist you with personal, social, legal, and other personal problems that you may have during your stay in Argentina. After finishing the internship you'll receive a certificate awarded by the host organization, and a certificate of participation in COINED International Internship program.
