Description:
The host organization aims to improve the life quality of Parkinson patients by promoting their integration and avoiding their isolation through services that minimize their physical and psychological consequences. The organization also provides information related to the illness, and medical, psychological, legal and social assistance. Family workshops, courses and self help groups are also offered.
Highlights:
As an intern you will assist the professional sstaff coordinating the Logopaedics Department of the organization. Being part of this department will help you to get in touch with the work methodology of the center, the techniques used, and the activities applied to the logopaedics treatment.
Qualifications:
In order to apply you must hold a degree in Logopaedics, be highly motivated and committed to the treatment of elderly patients affected by neurological disorders. You require an intermediate level of Spanish, basic knowledge of Catalan will be highly appreciated.
Cost Include Description:
Edition and translation of your internship documentation. 24 hour telephone line to assist you with personal, social, legal, and other personal problems that you may have during your stay in Spain. After finishing the internship you'll receive a certificate awarded by the host organization, and a certificate of participation in COINED International Internship program.
