Description:
This project is designed to promote exports and investments of productive sectors, by offering high-quality technical services and enhancing the image and competitive development of Ecuador. Exports such as coffee, bananas, timber, cocoa, shrimp and flowers are coordinated and promoted through CORPEI whilst providing non-financial products and services to local entrepreneurs. It also identifies commercial opportunities and threats and offers local assistance to unions through the design of strategic, sector-based plans and works in the conformation of exporting groups and strategic alliances. An internship with CORPEI would involve offering expertise and technical assistance to Ecuadorian entrepreneurs dedicated to promoting Ecuador's exportable goods and services abroad in the efforts to improve Ecuador's economic and social development and to enhance the prosperity of the nation on the global market. The intern would support the efforts of producers and exporters to enter new markets, learn the characteristics of demand and consumption in other countries, identify buyers and requirements needed to enter the markets and participate in international fairs.
