CIS - Summer Internship in Dublin, Ireland
Ireland
Term: Summer
Dates: mid-May - early July (7 weeks)
Description:
The Dublin Internship Program offers 6 weeks of work (plus one week of orientation) in one of Europe's most cosmopolitan cities. Students participate in Dublin's work life through assigned internships that complement their particular academic concentration and personal goals. Students work full-time, five days a week. Internship areas include advertising, marketing, and public relations; arts and arts administration; business and economics; film, radio, and television; hospitality and tourism; journalism; management and finance; politics and international relations; prelaw; psychology and social policy; and theater studies. Our internship placement team in Dublin works closely with students to select their internship option. Students are preplaced prior to the start of the summer, after discussing their requirements with one of the Internship Managers, students interview with their selected company and decide whether to accept the internship. The internship placement team makes every effort to meet students' main internship goals and continues working with students until they find an agreeable placement. Placement opportunities exist through sponsor relationships with both small, dynamic local firms, as well as market-leading multi-national organizations.
Highlights:
In addition to a comprehensive on site orientation, walking tour of the city center, and welcome reception, this program also offers a social program to help you balance work and play. In addition, there will be time set aside for students to rest and/or explore between orientation sessions to facilitate an easy transition into this new experience.
