Description: Students who enroll in the internship program through GSE and Macquarie University will be eligible to earn credits towards their current degree while gaining valuable work experience in city of Sydney. Students will Intern for between 10-20 hours per week for 12 weeks on the Internship project and will be assessed by visits, interviews, reports and a major assignment. Internship projects can be completed in a variety of disciplines including business administration, marketing, biomedical sciences, computer science, media, communications, finance, psychology and public relations (others not mentioned will be considered).

Located on a 100 acre site just eleven miles outside of Sydney's central business district, Macquarie University provides a stimulating educational environment on a park like campus replete with native trees and a sculpture park featuring works by some of Australias leading artists.

The university is organized into three colleges offering a wide range of course options for prospective students. The college of commerce offers courses in the fields of business, economics, and finance, while the college of science and technology allows students to take courses in biological sciences, earth sciences, chemistry, geography, and psychology. Macquaries college of humanities and social sciences offers a plethora of options in English, history, politics, sociology, philosophy, and communications.
