As a Virtual Organization Management Intern, you will be trained on Virtual Organization Management best practices, policies and procedures for operating in a virtual environment. You will also participate in the preparation and launch of Virtual Organization Management events, including all related marketing and promotional activities such as: preparing promotional materials; developing and refining event agendas as well as appropriate content for virtual organization courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences; contacting corporate sponsors, alliance partners, and potential event attendees; and providing either assistance to, or direct participation on, the Virtual Organization Management Conferences and Events Committee. Depending on your performance and experience, you will be eligible to participate in virtual organization management webinars, seminars, symposiums and conferences held worldwide in one or more of the following capacities: Panel Moderator or Panel Member. You must have: high-speed access to the internet from your home and on the road; a laptop computer with all the appropriate applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Publisher, Acrobat and etc.); a land-based phone line.

We will also cooperate with your educational institution in order for you to receive college credit units during your training. At the end of your internship, and depending on your performance and subject to meeting our admissions or qualifications criteria, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship or fellowship from our sister organization, Virtual Organization Management Institute. Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program, or a Post doc. - Ambitious, Aggressive, Drive to Succeed, and Sales Ability - Strong PowerPoint presentation as well as superior proposal writing skills is a big plus - Must be open and willing to establish and nurture relationships with key business executives - Must have a good aptitude and be able and willing to invest in yourself the necessary amount of time needed to become successful - Must be a team player, as well as being able to operate independently in a VIRTUAL environment with minimum support. - Must be extremely reliable, a self-starter, focused, determined, resourceful and organized. - A minimum of 2-5 years business experience is required. Corporate training experience is a BIG PLUS, however, it is not required. - Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills - A B.A. degree is required.
